Eric G. is the word geek behind Touché Linguistic Services, bringing over 30 years of experience with languages, teaching, marketing, and technology to every project.
He has taught French and English from Canada to South Korea, worked with Indigenous communities in Quebec, and written for tech and business publications. HIs academic research in linguistic planning, rhetoric, and discourse analysis gives him a rare ability to understand not just words, but how they can be best used for persuasion.
Along the way, Eric assumed marketing roles in health, IT, and entertainment brands, founded an e-learning company and a marketing consultancy, and built language-processing tools in Prolog and Lisp—turning words into meaning. He has also shared his insights at events like Modsim World and the Montreal Game Summit.
In 2011, Eric and his wife Jessica turned their shared passion for language and cultural nuance into Touché Linguistic Services. What started as a mission to deliver human-led translations quickly grew into a full-service company handling localization, SEO content, and e-learning solutions.
